The company is most likely to start rolling out that upgrade for eligible devices before the week ends. The first and foremost, smartphone that will start getting this upgrade is Mate 20, then Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS Porsche Design and P20 Lite.
The rest of the smartphones will start receiving upgrades later in July. That smartphones include Huawei Y5 2019, Huawei Y6 Pro 2019, Huawei Y9 2019, Huawei Mate 9 Pro, Huawei Mate 9, Huawei Mate 10 RS Porsche Design, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei Mate 10, Huawei P30 Lite, Huawei Nova 3i, Huawei Nova 3, Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro. There are only two smartphones of Huawei named Huawei P10 and P10 Plus that are slated to get the upgrade in August 2019. Frankly speaking, EMUI 9.1 isn’t the biggest update over EMUI 9.0 but it comes loaded with numerous improvements and features to improve user’s overall experience. It also claims to improve writing and reading performance of the flash memory on compatible handsets. Moreover, it includes GPU Turbo 3.0 that gives a smoother gaming experience and in addition to the dazzling compatibility, this upgrade helps reduce SoC power consumption by up to 10%. Some of the other features include Easier File Sharing, Latest Wallpapers, Eye-catching App Icons and more.
